Dealership teams up with BYD

Ebbett Rotorua has announced it is now an official home of BYD and has added a range of the marque’s EVs and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) to its offerings.

The dealership says the move strengthens its commitment to offering customers a diverse choice of sustainable mobility solutions. 

Willem Pieterse, dealer principal, says the introduction of BYD is a significant milestone for the business, which also represents Kia, MG Motor and Volkswagen.

“We’re excited to have BYD as part of our dealership. It’s a brand that is redefining the way people think about electric and hybrid vehicles,” adds Pieterse, pictured.

Warren Willmot, BYD New Zealand general manager, says the appointment of Ebbett Rotorua is a key part of the brand's nationwide strategy.
