Dealership names new CEO

Lexus of Auckland City has announced Sharlene Van Dijk, pictured, has been appointed as its new chief executive officer after serving as general manager for the company since August.

In a Facebook post, the dealership says: “Sharlene holds a wealth of experience and knowledge in the high-end automotive industry and we are more than thankful to have Sharlene as an addition to the Lexus of Auckland City team.” 

Van Dijk joins the business on Great North Road in Grey Lynn, Auckland, after two years as assistant sales manager at Giltrap Kia and prior to that she was sales manager at Giltrap Holden North Shore.

Before then she spent more than 14 years in sales and dealer principal roles in South Africa and also has experience in the finance and insurance sector.
