Dealer principal on board

Colonial Motor Company has appointed Alex Delaney as dealer principal at Masterton-based Ford franchise Fagan Motors.

Annaliese Atina, managing director of Ford NZ, says: “On behalf of the Ford team, I’d like to congratulate Alex on his well-deserved appointment.

“It has been fantastic to see his progression through so many key roles and now appointed as a dealer principal. His talent, skill and passion for the brand will no doubt serve Fagan’s team, customers and community very well.”

Delaney, pictured, has most recently been sales manager with North Harbour Mazda in Auckland, which is part of the Eagers Automotive Group. 

After starting his career as a groomer, he has progressed steadily through sales and executive roles. He has worked with Ford and Mazda, and is looking forward to continuing his relationship with both brands.

Soon after Delaney’s start as dealer principal, the business will be celebrating the official launch of Fagan’s new sales building.
