Dealer numbers on the rise

A further 23 registered motor-vehicle dealers were recorded on the Motor Vehicle Traders Register during July when compared to the previous month. 

The number of registered traders in New Zealand reached a total of 3,497 by the end of last month. June’s total was 3,474.

There were 3,479 traders active at the start of June compared to 3,474 last month, according to data supplied to Autofile by from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

The number of registered motor-vehicle traders peaked in November when 3,536 were registered.
