Dealer group pushes into South Island
Building on its 18-dealership network, the Ebbett Group now has big plans for Nelson with Skoda, GWM and Haval.

The Ebbett Group has announced plans to launch a new car dealership in central Nelson, which will be the company’s first foray into the South Island
The site on the corner of Rutherford Street and Nile Street will cater for the Skoda, GWM and Haval brands, feature a used vehicle and service operation, and is due to open in mid-2022.
Ben van den Engel, Ebbett Group’s managing director, says the company is looking forward to growing its network beyond the 18 dealerships it has in the North Island.
“We’ve been looking for the right opportunity in this part of the country for a while now and are excited to have found a site, and brands, we feel can be extremely successful here,” he explains.
