Conference entries open
ITSNZ is welcoming submissions for T-Tech 2026, which is taking place from July 7-8 this year at the University of Auckland’s engineering faculty.
The theme for the conference is “smart transport, better outcomes”, which will guide conversations across technology, policy, research and implementation with a strong focus on practical impact.
There are 12 topic categories to choose from. They include cyber security and digital trust, integrated and multimodal mobility, transport management and operations, asset management and smart infrastructure, and transport safety and wellbeing. The others are:
• Road pricing, tolling and network optimisation.
• Governance, policies and standards.
• Data, analytics, ai and digital transformation.
• Connected, co-operative and automated transport.
• Sustainability, resilience and environment.
• Workforce, skills and capability.
“We invite abstracts from across the intelligent transport and related fields, whether you’re sharing research, case studies, lessons learned or emerging ideas,” says a spokesman for ITSNZ.
“If you have insights that can help shape smarter, safer and more sustainable transport outcomes, we want to hear from you.” Click here for more details on T-Tech 2026.
Meanwhile, it’s a case of save the date of May 5-7, 2027. That’s when the ITS Asia-Pacific Forum will be held at NZ International Convention Centre in Auckland. The event will bring together global delegates from this country, Australia and Asia-Pacific for three days of ideas, technology and collaboration.
