Chery pairs with dealership

Chery New Zealand has announced Blackwells Motor Ltd will be the brand’s official dealership in Christchurch. 

With branches in central Christchurch and Sockburn, both sites will provide full sales and aftersales support for the Chinese marque.

Chery will launch here in July and plans to have 10 dealerships across the country at that stage.

Its model line-up will feature the award-winning Tiggo 4, pictured, the Chery Super Hybrid version of the Tiggo 7 and eight SUVs.  

A statement from Chery says Blackwells, established in 1923, has been synonymous with “the great New Zealand driving experience” and grown to become one of the country’s largest independently owned motor companies.

It adds Blackwells’ goal of “supplying customers with class-leading value and quality” aligns with Chery’s core values.
