Brand unveils all-new SUV

MG Motor has given the all-new MG HS its global debut and the model is set to hit New Zealand showrooms before the end of this year.

The wraps were taken off the latest version of the vehicle, which has been a key performer for the marque in New Zealand since 2019, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK this month.

Arek Zywot, MG Motor NZ country manager, says the HS continues to drive positive brand momentum globally and locally.  

"The MG HS has been embraced by New Zealand families since its arrival and the latest HS promises to redefine expectations once again,” he notes. 

“The new HS continues MG’s commitment to versatility and innovation, with local specifications to be announced at launch in the second half of this year.”

Compared with the outgoing model, the new MG HS is 14mm wider at 1,890mm and 26mm longer at  4,636mm. However, its overall height is 30mm lower.

Zywot adds: “The technology offering has evolved with the HS featuring two prominent 12.3-inch high-definition displays alongside and much more that we’ll be sure to share closer to launch.”
