Brand increasingly accessible
Three new Dongfeng models are now available at Armstrong’s dealerships around the country, offering value and performance possibilities for Kiwis wanting to embrace zero-emissions motoring.
Additionally, the impending expansion of the marque’s network will improve consumer accessibility to its EVs.
Complementary to Armstrong’s locations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, at the end of February there will be four new dealers that will retail and service Dongfeng products – Takanini Auto Group in south Auckland, Auckland Auto Group in Albany, Waikato Auto Group in Hamilton and Tauranga Motor Group.
All dealerships will feature the three models in the brand’s portfolio – the Box, Vigo and 007. The Box, a small city car, is available for less than $30,000 until the end of April. Its key elements include frameless doors, a “floating” two-tone roof, hidden door handles, LED headlamps and soft-touch materials in the cabin.
The Vigo, “renowned as the best value EV SUV” for sale in New Zealand, has standard equipment such as level-two ADAS features, a double-split tailgate with 150kg load capacity and vehicle-to-load capability. It costs from $37,990 until the end of April.
The 007, pictured above, is available in long-range, rear-wheel drive with 520km of WLTP range. It’s priced from $54,990. Its all-wheel-drive 400kW performance variant, with a 0-100kph sprint time of 3.9-seconds is available from $59,990. Prices exclude on-road costs.
