Black is the new black
Lexus has introduced an IS 300h special edition, which boasts a muscular rear end, powerful haunches and sharp angles up-front, to its Kiwi line-up.
Added to all the technology on the IS 300h F Sport are several exterior Black Line features to make it stand out from the rest of the marque’s range.
These include the grey body colour, and black roof and bonnet. The car rides on staggered 19-inch Enkei alloys finished in dark-grey metallic. It sports a black front grille and surround.
Andrew Davis, vice-president of Lexus NZ, says: “The IS has been popular with drivers that don’t need the functionality of an SUV and want a touring sedan with exceptional road-handling performance.
“Being electrified, the Black Line edition also provides a lower emissions sports powertrain and its aggressive stance is accentuated by the unique Black Line treatment.” It’s priced from $89,900.
