Black Fern star joins LDV

Katelyn Vahaakolo, the talented Black Fern, has signed a one-year contract with LDV NZ.

As part of her being collaboration as a brand ambassador, she gets to drive a T60 ute. 

In addition to being a professional rugby player, the 24-year-old has growing influence both online and offline. 

With about 53,000 Instagram followers, Vahaakolo is also comfortable playing league. Since 2020, she has shifted between the 13 and 15-a-side codes, often playing one on Saturday and the other on Sunday. In 2023, she was the Blues’ player of the year.

“LDV’s support for grassroots communities and hardworking Kiwis aligns with my own values,” says Vahaakolo.
