NZ Cheap Cars says it’s proud to announce its role as an official partner of Big Gay Out 2026, New Zealand’s largest celebration of its rainbow community.

This partnership with the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa “reinforces” the company’s commitment to building a more inclusive, respectful and representative country, “both inside the business and across its communities”.

“We’re proud to support Big Gay Out, and stand alongside the foundation in delivering one of the country’s most important and meaningful cultural events,” says Michael Yang, pictured, chief executive officer of NZ Cheap Cars.

“Creating a genuinely inclusive environment isn’t just good business, it’s a core responsibility we take seriously.”

Big Gay Out is a celebration of diversity, connection and pride, and provides a safe and joyful space for LGBTQIA+ communities and allies to come together. Next year’s event, scheduled for February at Coyle Park in Auckland, will bring thousands together for a day of live music, performances, connection and community.

“This is an issue that’s important to our staff, customers and leadership,” adds Yang. “Our partnership with Big Gay Out reflects who we are and the culture we’re building.”

Late last month, the company was awarded a silver medal in the 2026 Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards.
