Big demand for RS 5

Strong demand for the all-new RS 5 has seen 80 per cent of Audi NZ’s allocation pre-sold ahead of the model’s arrival in September.

The momentum follows a nationwide dealer roadshow which has given customers an exclusive opportunity to experience the high-performance Avant in person.

Greg Leet, general manager of Audi NZ, says the roadshow has demonstrated the strength of customer demand for the new RS 5 and the ability of dealerships to bring the Sport brand to life.

“The roadshow has demonstrated the strength of our network, with dealerships giving customers an exclusive opportunity to experience Audi Sport in a premium environment,” he adds. “It’s been fantastic to see the level of engagement generated around the country.

“New Zealand has always been one of Audi Sport’s strongest markets globally. The fact the factory sent us a pre-production vehicle before the RS 5 was available in Europe says a lot about the strength of this market.”

The RS 5 Avant is priced from $196,990, excluding on-road costs.
