Association wants your input

The Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (VIA) is preparing to start holding monthly webinars for members, with the first one focusing on the government’s clean car programme. 

The opening webinar will be at 1pm on Tuesday, February 14, with subsequent events being held on the second Tuesday of each month. 

Malcolm Yorston, technical manager, is calling on members to make the most of these opportunities to learn more about VIA’s activities and for the opportunity to provide their own input. 

“The focus of our first webinar for 2023 is to update industry on what VIA has been doing to inform the government on the consequences of the clean car programme, especially since government is now reviewing its priorities,” he explains. 
 
“Come to this webinar with options, ideas and feedback plus what else you – the industry – think we need to be doing.” 

Yorston, pictured, will be one of three speakers at the February 14 event, along with VIA colleagues David Vinsen, chief executive, and Kit Wilkerson, head of policy and strategy.
