Appointment adds ‘industry expertise’

Heartland Bank has announced the recent appointment of Alistair Scott as its chief auto and asset finance officer.

Scott, pictured, joins the company after 12 years with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), where he was most recently managing director for the Asia Pacific region.

He has held a number of senior management roles at JLR since 2013, including sales director for the Asia Pacific region, business development manager, and regional business manager for Brazil, Latin America and Caribbean importers and Australia. 

Scott has more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry after also working in sales, franchise and business development manager jobs at Honda UK and International Motors. 

Heartland says: “Alistair brings extensive industry expertise, digital transformation proficiency and valuable experience in both direct-to-consumer and intermediary distribution channels, all of which will greatly benefit our motor finance and asset finance businesses.”
