Head of network development at GWM will oversee coverage through dealers.

GWM has appointed John-Paul Falvo as its head of network development, joining the company’s executive team.

With close to 20 years’ experience in senior roles across brands including Nissan, Hyundai, Mazda and most recently Iveco, he takes extensive expertise to a strategically critical area of the business. 

His leadership will support GWM’s commitment to delivering a “best-in-class sales and service experience while driving sustained volume growth”.

Falvo, pictured, will oversee ensuring optimal network coverage for GWM through its network coverage, dealer standards, training and performance. The company currently has 115 dealers in Australia and 21 in New Zealand.

John Kett, chief operating officer of GWM Australia & New Zealand, says: “Since joining GWM just over six months ago, it’s become clear that network development is an area of the business that requires greater focus. 

“As our dealer footprint has expanded alongside the maturity of our brand, close collaboration with our dealer partners will be critical to unlocking the next phase of growth.”

Most recently, Falvo was head of network development, customer experience and training at Iveco, a role he held for over two years. Prior to this, he spent nearly a decade at Nissan, including eight years as network development manager and two years as national manager of customer, retail experience and voice of customer.
