$6k off four X-Trails

Nissan NZ has expanded its top-selling X-Trail range with the new two-wheel-drive (2WD) e-Power hybrid ST-L and Ti-L variants, and the debut of two adventure-focused Rock Creek grades.

The 2WD e-Powers offer 150kW of power and combined fuel consumption of 5.4l/100km, an improvement of approximately 11.5 per cent over all-wheel-drive e-Power variants, which deliver 6.1/100km. 

Combined CO2 emissions for the 2WD hybrids are 123g/km versus 139g/km for the AWD e-Power models. 

Until September 30, they are being offered at an introductory price of $49,990 plus on-road costs for the ST-L and $55,990 for the Ti-L – a $6,000 saving compared to its price from October 1. 

The distinctive new grades of the X-Trail Rock Creek, pictured, have been developed for buyers seeking a more “rugged interpretation” of a family SUV. 

Offered in seven-seat configuration for the petrol model and five-seat configuration for the e-Power, the Rock Creeks are built on the all-wheel-drive ST-L petrol and AWD ST-L e-Power respectively.

Outside, they feature a black V-motion grille, black roof rails, gloss-black door mirrors, a unique front lower bumper and exclusive 18-inch alloys.

A distinctive “three slot” horizontal grille inspired by the D21 ute is exclusive to the X-Trail Rock Creek. Inside, durable ballistic nylon-trimmed seats feature embroidered Rock Creek badging, and there’s orange contrast stitching across the seats and dashboard trim.

Both Rock Creek variants feature a technology step-up over the ST-L donor grade, adding a 10.8-inch head-up display and a 12.3-inch full TFT instrument cluster.

There are special prices until the end of September – $50,590 plus on-road costs for the petrol seven-seater and $55,590 for the 4WD e-Power Rock Creek variant. These $6,000 savings \will apply until October 1.
