Wait for new Honda

Posted on 22 February, 2015

New Zealand dealers could have to wait until next year for the new HR-V which has already been released in Australia. This could open up the opportunity for used importers to bring in Japan’s version of the vehicle which has been badged as the Vezel and is already recording strong sales, as reported in Autofile’s monthly wrap up on the market in Japan. Nadine Bell, of Honda New Zealand, told Yahoo! Autos: “We are working on it and we want to bring it to NZ as soon as we can but I don’t have any more confirmed timing at the moment.” She conceded that New Zealand buyers may have to wait for more than a year for the vehicle’s official Kiwi launch. The HR-V currently retails in Australia for $24,990.
