Jeep pulls in towing title

Posted on 23 October, 2014

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has been named as a top towing vehicle by www.autotrader.com – with the site noting demand and interest in it is growing. The model is now the fifth most popular vehicle of all types of buyers looking for information on the US website – up from ninth in August. It says the Cherokee is “a must-have inclusion for anyone looking for a four-wheel-drive or SUV to use as a tow vehicle that combines comfort and ability”. Reid Bigland, of the Chrysler Group, says: “This recognises our commitment to offer customers best-in-class towing designed for maximum capability and optimum fuel economy without sacrificing vehicle performance or luxury.” The Grand Cherokee is available in New Zealand from $64,990, excluding delivery and dealer costs.
