Holden gets behind golf

One of the events set up to celebrate Holden’s participation as major sponsor of the NZPGA is “Holden’s Game on the Green”, a putting course with a difference, on Queens Wharf in Auckland. “Holden’s history with golf is long and proud and after an eight year hiatus [from sponsoring the event], we’re delighted to again bring the game to all New Zealanders – professional, amateur, hacker and supporter alike,” says Marnie Samphier, general manager of marketing at Holden NZ. For the next four days Holden is encouraging Kiwis to try its free putting course on the waterfront. “Holden Game on the Green offers everyone the chance to have a bit of fun on the putting green, give golf a shot and display your putting prowess.” Holden says while it is about having fun, players with the highest rankings will be named as Holden Game on the Greenfinalists and could win a brand new Holden for a weekend, a round of golf with a local golfing legend, a family weekend away or become a professional golfer’s caddy at the Holden NZPGA Championship. The Holden Game on the Green putting course is located at 99 Quay Street on Queens Wharf till the 28th of February. It’s open between 10am and 7pm daily.
