Colorado ute to reach NZ

The new Holden Colorado ute is set to go on sale locally in just under a month, with huge anticipation thanks to the Southern Hemisphere debut of the Colorado Xtreme Concept which was launched at the National Agricultural Fieldays. Due to begin selling in New Zealand on September 10, the Colorado Xtreme was designed and built by Holden in Australia. Since then it has been displayed at the Bangkok Motor Show, which took place in March and the General Motors product conference, as well as viewings in Spain, Australia and the NZ Fieldays. “The Xtreme was a pointer towards the direction of the new Colorado and following its reveal we’ve noticed a pronounced spike in web traffic as well as an uplift in dealer enquiry. Excitement and anticipation is certainly building and we’re looking forward to launching the new model with much fanfare as it represents a significant enhancement over the previous generation," says Managing Director of Holden New Zealand, Kristian Aquilina.
