BMW unveils new MD

Florian Renndorfer has been announced as the new managing director of BMW Group New Zealand to succeed Nina Englert. Renndorfer is currently based in Munich, and works for BMW Motorrad as head of region for Asia, Pacific, Middle East, China and South Africa. The 39-year-old officially starts his new role on August 1. He will be responsible for the overall business development and steering of BMW and Mini in this country. Englert is leaving BMW NZ to take up a role with BMW Financial Services as vice-president for sales and marketing for the US market in New Jersey. She commences her new role on July 1 and leaves New Zealand with BMW being recognised as the country’s most popular premium brand for three years running, and leading the premium segment year to date.
