Big challenge in SuperTourers

Posted on 28 July, 2014

V8SuperTourer driver Richard Moore is teaming up with Australian Tim Slade for the BNT V8SuperTourer 2014 Endurance Series. They partnered for the first time last year finishing in third place, but Moore is confident they will finish higher this year. “Tim and I combined well last year and I’m stoked he’s agreed to co-drive with me for series,” says Moore. “We’re a year older and wiser with more race experience including podium finishes.” Slade adds: “M3 is a top notch team and it was a pleasure to run with it in 2013. Richard is driving exceptionally well and I’m looking forward to building on the great results we achieved last season.” The Aussie drives for the Supercheap Auto Racing Team in the V8Supercar series across the ditch. Based on the Gold Coast, his season has been challenging so he’s out to prove a point in the NZ SuperTourer Endurance rounds. The season starts on September 27-28 in Taupo. Round two is on November 1-2 as part of the Waikato 400 at Hampton Downs. The third round is from November 29-30 at the FUCHS 500, Pukekohe.
