Auckland City BMW shareholders

Auckland City BMW managing director, Ian Gibson and his wife Joanne are acquiring a 50 per cent shareholding in the business. The acquisition will include Auckland MINI garage, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Auckland and all of its associated operations. This will decrease the shareholdings of Bev Collins of Collins Asset Management Limited.  Collins will reduce her 100 per cent holding to 50 per cent. No changes are planned to the current governance structure with Keith Goodall and Ian Gibson remaining as the two directors. “It’s an exciting development for Joanne and I, and we are committed to the long term success and stability of the company,” says Gibson. “With the world changing to autonomous and electric vehicles, this is an incredible opportunity which I never thought would present itself.”
