Arrivals at Lyttleton increase

Car imports at Lyttleton Port of Christchurch (LPC) were 23.5 per cent higher than in 2013. Peter Davie, chief executive says LPC continued to have overall volume growth ahead of expectations. He says increases in car, fertilizer, grain and log imports offset the predicted downturn in coal to achieve positive growth for non-containerised volumes.
