A list of all the contenders for the World Car of the Year Awards (WCOTY) has been released - which model will take the top prize in 2019?

Over the coming months, 85 international jurors will be driving, evaluating and voting for all the contender models.

After that, the World Car Awards Finals will be held at the New York Auto Show in April 2019. 

As well as the overall winner, winning cars will be named in the Luxury, Performance, Green and Urban car categories while a world car design of the year will be selected.
