It's game on at Toyota’s Fieldays stand

Toyota’s Kiwi hospitality will be an integral part of their stand this year at Mystery Creek’s 50th anniversary Fieldays® from June 13 to 16.

Fieldays is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event and the ultimate launch platform for cutting-edge technology and innovation.

The popular Puha and Pakeha food truck will dispense modern Maori fusion kai with hangi sandwiches and seafood chowder on the menu.

Special displays, with something for everyone, will complement the wide range of Toyota vehicles on display.

The FT-1 concept car, the inspiration for the latest Supra sports car which arrives here next year, will be on display so enthusiasts can get an up close preview of what is set to be a new benchmark in performance and design for Toyota.

“The FT-1 has travelled the world, and now it’s our turn to showcase our commitment to fun to drive cars with stunning design and performance,” said Neeraj Lala, Toyota New Zealand’s General Manager of New Vehicle Sales.

“The Supra is going to continue re-igniting the passion for exciting performance cars that was started by the 86 coupe.”

Petrol heads will also be able to showcase their skills in a tyre changing competition as part of the Toyota Racing Series display.

A scavenger hunt for kids will focus on the Toyota Kiwi Guardians project which is run in partnership with the Department of Conservation.

Toyota ambassadors Marc Ellis and Matt Watson will also be present along with the largest range of SUVs in the market, the C-HR, RAV 4, Highlander, Fortuner, Prado and Land Cruiser 200.

The latest Hilux models and Land Cruiser 70 which are the backbone of many agricultural operations will also be exhibited.

Toyota’s stand is again on the corner of I Road and C Street and Fieldays® is open from 8am to 5pm each day.
