Posted on 20 February, 2018

The fund offers up to 50 per cent funding towards projects that support the uptake of electric vehicles (EVs) in New Zealand. Applicants must match or exceed the amount granted. Companies, councils and organisations can apply, or partner together to apply. Applicants have until 8am, 11 April 2018 to submit proposals to The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA). Projects should support practical, sustainable ways to increase EV uptake, particularly in the light fleet market, close gaps in charging infrastructure and demonstrate the uses of heavy electric vehicles across the economy.
