Alibaba to launch car vending

Forget showrooms, the new trend for selling vehicles comes in the size of a vending machine. Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba plans to open its first car vending machine next year but this is not the first concept available. Used car dealer, Autobahn Motors opened a 15-storey vending machine in Singapore last year with customers given the opportunity to choose which vehicle they want to see via a touchscreen display.  A car vending machine is also available in the United States - Carvana opened an eight-storey vending machine in San Antonio Texas in March.
