Concept from Jeep

Jeep’s Renegade Hard Steel show car was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The concept is based on the off-road-ready Trailhawk, but features several noteworthy styling and equipment upgrades, including a full metallic paint job. It has been built to showcase the customisation options available through Jeep’s Mopar range, but the highlight is a giant touchscreen equipped trailer designed to look like the vehicles rear end. It’s designed to showcase the latest Uconnect Live in-car infotainment system available on regular versions of the Renegade. The in-car screen is a bit smaller at five to six-and-a-half inches, but includes options for music streaming, navigation, hands-free phone use, and telematics. The car has its own wi-fi hotspot, enabling its matching appendage to access internet radio, social media and real-time traffic updates among other infotainment functions. It features special roof bars, alloy wheels, bonnet vents and bumpers all finished in matt black, while the car also gets raised suspension and chunky BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres. The interior of the Hard Steel gets more brushed steel detailing and the metallic theme continues on the leather seats.
