Last call for your pictures

Autofile would love to hear from you if have any photos or images from the “good old days” of importing vehicles into New Zealand. The aim is to use as many as we can in an upcoming book about the history of the industry as part of the celebrations for the first 25 years of the used vehicle import trade. Any of the following would be appreciated:

• Pictures of Kiwi car yards, including “mega site” or “behind the wall” sales.
• Photos of personalities from the era – both Japanese and Kiwi.
• Images of Japanese car yards and auctions.

• Photographs of cars from the era, as well as shipping, transportation and shipping.

If you can help, please email brian@autofile.co.nz – images sent should be high resolution and about 300dpi. They should have notations as to who, where and when. We will take good care of hard copies and return them in the same condition as supplied to us after they have been reproduced. Phone Brian on 021-455-775 with any queries.
