VIA has issued a security warning due to car yards being targeted by thieves in Auckland.

VIA, the Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association, has issued a security warning due to car yards being targeted by thieves in Auckland.
"We have received reports of recent burglaries, targeting at least two car yards in the greater Auckland area," says VIA.
"In one attack, thieves used a stolen car to ram the gates of the yard and steal four vehicles, one of which has since been recovered by Police."
"We advise all members around the country to review your security measures and take appropriate steps to make sure your premises and belongings are secure."
