Three drivers remain in with a shot of winning the Toyota 86 Championship title as they prepare for the season’s finale at Taupo International Motorsport Park this weekend.

Tom Bewley, William Exton and Hunter Robb are all title contenders ahead of the final three races of the 2023-24 competition, which are part of the Supercars event at the North Island circuit.

Bewley has 10-point lead over Exton in the championship, with Robb a further 44 points back in third place after five rounds.

There’s also plenty on the line this weekend for Jackson Rooney, Justin Allen and Hayden Bakkerus as they battle to finish the campaign in the top five, while Alice Buckley and Christina Orr-West will be vying to finish as top woman in the standings.

A field of 21 cars will be in action at Taupo, which is the last event for the current Toyota 86 model before the new GR86 is introduced next season, with qualifying on Friday, two races on Saturday and the last race on Sunday.
