Subaru moves into new HQ

Subaru has shifted into new corporate headquarters in Tokyo. The 12-storey global nerve centre, home to Subaru-brand manufacturer Fuji Heavy Industries, boasts an airy showroom more than four times as big as the previous space that could only house two vehicles. Fuji Heavy Industries says the building design features a sense of speed and dynamism, while the new environment will allow for more “active internal and external communication”. An event hall will be used for vehicle launches and other events. Subaru’s market share in New Zealand was 1.5 per cent last year with sales of 1,748 units. Year to July, its share was two per cent with 1,042 deliveries.
