Rolls-Royce to exhibit Royal Phantoms

Rolls-Royce have unveiled the final three Phantoms to appear at the ‘Great Eight’ exhibition, which will launch the new Phantom VIII. The first is the Phantom VI State Limousine owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and was gifted to the royal to mark her silver jubilee in 1977. The next Phantom belonged to Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini, the Aga Khan. His Phantom IV will be the second Phantom belonging to a royal to be shown at the exhibition. The Aga Khan’s bespoke Phantom took two years to build, and is engraved with the Imam’s royal crest. The final car to join the exhibition is the First Goodwood Phantom VII, which was released on January 1, 2003. The Phantom undertook a 7,200km drive across Australia following its debut, from Perth to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The new Phantom VIII will be revealed on July 27 and will be streamed live worldwide.
