NZ Mazdas all have 5-stars

All new Mazda models in New Zealand now have maximum 5-star safety ratings, says Mazda New Zealand. The new Mazda CX-9 was awarded the 5-star rating by the Australasian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP) in its combined safety performance evaluation. It achieved an overall score of 35.87 out of a possible 37 points. Mazda New Zealand managing director Andrew Clearwater says to get that safety endorsement a couple of months out from the CX-9’s New Zealand launch is fantastic. The new model will be released in New Zealand on October 1. “Every Mazda model in our showroom has achieved 5-Star safety ratings, and we are extremely proud of that,” Clearwater says.
