Milner secures Skoda deal

Rod Milner Motors has been appointed the sales, marketing and distributor for the U Drive Mobility Skoda Yeti in New Zealand. Rod Milner, who has owned the Greenlane business in Auckland for three decades and has been in the industry for 50 years, says it can now supply a full range of disability vehicles across the country. “Yeti production was disrupted while low-volume certification issues were being sorted out, but we’re delighted to be involved with this fantastic vehicle,” he told Autofile Online.“We see a big future for this model. It fills the gap for clients who want a purpose-built and self-drive vehicle. There’s nothing like it available in this country that comes close to what this can offer for people wanting to drive in comfort from wheelchairs. “The beauty of the vehicle is that it’s not too big, easy to operate and manage. We will be selling the new 1.4-litre turbo model turbo charged with excellent power and fuel economy. We expect to sell a considerable number.”
