McLaren 'Hyper-GT' in development

Luxury supercar manufacturer McLaren Automotive has released a new design sketch of the upcoming ‘Hyper-GT’, codenamed BP23. McLaren claim it will be the most powerful and aerodynamic road-driving car they have produced. Development of the BP23 is currently underway at McLaren Special Operations, the bespoke division of the company which designs and manufactures its most high-end personalised customer vehicles. The exact location, somewhere near Surrey, is kept strictly secret. The codename BP23 is a portmanteau – the car is the second bespoke project McLaren has produced, and it will have three seats. Production will be limited to 106 examples, and pre-orders have already been snapped up. Buyers will work alongside the Special Operations team to personalise colours, trim and other accents.
