Posted on 09 February, 2016

Subaru of New Zealand achieved record sales in January with 256 units registered. The high sales were led by the Outback with 135 units, followed by the XV Crossover, registrations of which were up by 37 per cent from the same month in 2015. Sales of the WRX and STi resulted in the month in the marque’s Kiwi history with 20 registrations last month. The marque was also ahead of its own benchmark with January sales up by 112 per cent from the same month last year. Managing director Wallis Dumper says: “We could not have asked for a better start. It feels great to be carrying on the momentum of our dealer team finishing last year 25 per cent ahead year on year. “That was an all-time record for the 25 years the company has been the distributor of Subarus in New Zealand and was a wonderful way to wrap up 2015.”
