Kia releases Sportage photos

Kia has published pictures of its latest Sportage ahead of the SUV’s debut at Frankfurt Motor Show. The fourth-generation model boasts a sleeker look and revamped interior. The headlights are no longer integrated into the grille, but higher up next to the hood. The profile of the sides is more raked and the wheel arches more emphasized. The marque says the Sportage has the most refined and highest-quality interior it has manufactured to date, while interior and design upgrades are aimed at giving it a more upscale look to help it compete against rivals, such as Nissan’s Qashqai. The Sportage was designed by Kia’s European design centre in Frankfurt with input from its studios in Korea and California. It will go on sale next year.
