Judith Collins is back

Posted on 02 November, 2017

Judith Collins has been handed the transport portfolio in the post-election National reshuffle. Other key figures relating to the transport and automotive industry are; Jami-Lee Ross as associate transport spokesperson, Simon Bridges on economic development, Steven Joyce on infrastructure and Jonathan Young on energy.  “Today I am announcing our Opposition lineup which makes the most use of our dedicated and talented caucus,” English says. “We are the largest Opposition Party New Zealand has ever seen, and the largest party in Parliament. We will ensure we make those numbers count."
Other than Collins, there are few other changes in the National Party reshuffle.  All portfolios have been given to experienced MPs, leaving others to be "allocated portfolios in due course," said Bill English, head of the National Party. "We want to use the knowledge we have from what was an energised and focused Government."
