Hyundai wins ad award

Hyundai has won Fair Go's Best Ad Award for the "Let's Get Lost" TV campaign. Hyundai New Zealand General Manager Andy Sinclair says the ad campaign evolved from the original, which launched in 2015, which received Fair Go’s Worst Ad Award at the time. “We were surprised at the feedback from last year’s awards, because feedback from our customers was mostly very positive. But the strength of any company is in its ability to pay attention to how people feel about such things. We listened to the feedback, considered and responded with an updated, evolved version,” Sinclair said. The ad features 10-year-old actress Kayla and a blue Hyundai Tucson vehicle. Awards are judged by the show’s audience. “We are humbled by this wonderful response because the Best Ad Award judges are of course the people of New Zealand, people living in the communities we are part of.”
