Hot rods set for return

Posted on 21 January, 2016

The Teng Tools Grand National Rod and Custom Show is back for a second year to showcase the country’s top pre-1973 custom vehicles. Ross Prevette, the CRC Speedshow’s managing director, says last year’s event was a “roaring success”. He adds: “We had so many great comments about it we simply had to bring it back for another year.” The show will run as part of the CRC Speedshow and entries are open to anyone with a “top quality pre-1973 hot road or street machine”. Prevette invites entrants to contact the company if unsure about the eligibility criteria. “It can be unfinished project or even be a new build that hasn’t been shown before. We’re open to all types of cars and motorcycles so don’t hold back.” The show runs from July 16-17 at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland. More information and entry forms can be found on the CRC Speedshow website.
