Heritage cars on track

Posted on 30 October, 2014

Jaguar Land Rover has launched a heritage driving experience in England. It gives participants the chance to take the wheel of, among others, the D-type, E-type and F-TYPE R Coupé. The attraction opens in November at an 81-acre testing facility at Fen End, Warwickshire. Many of the vehicles will be driven by members of the public for the first time having been prepared for test action after Jaguar’s purchase of about 500 British heritage cars from a private collector. The collection covers more than 100 years of cars from pre- and post-war road racers and Le Mans champions, to later sporting saloons and grand tourers. Packages are available for visitors to experience an era or journey through the marque’s history up to present day. They include the rare SS100 and one-of-a-kind XJ13, while Jaguar has created short short film online. Watch it here:
