Two years after unveiling its successful Outlander plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, has again chosen France’s Mondial de L’Automobile” to premiere one.
This time it is the Outlander PHEV Concept-S, which will make its debut at the event that opens on October 4.
With “sporty and sophisticated” as its theme, the refined interior and exterior design expresses the combination of four-by-four performance from its twin-motor PHEV system, silent running and a superior on-road showing.
The production Outlander PHEV available in New Zealand uses two motors and a high-efficiency petrol engine to enable fuel efficiency of 1.9l/100km and emissions of only 44g/km.
