Posted on 24 August, 2016

Ford Motor Company is recalling almost 91,000 vehicles worldwide to replace faulty fuel-pump parts that can cause the car to stall without warning. Automotive News says Ford will replace the fuel-pump control models in 88,151 vehicles, including certain Taurus Sedans produced between 2013 and 2015. The recall also includes Ford Flex crossover utility vehicles, Lincoln MKS sedans, Lincoln MKT SUVs and Ford Police Interceptor sedans. The carmaker will recall a further 2,472 Ford Transit vans to replace fuel-injection pumps in certain models from the 2015 and 2016 model years. The marque is also recalling 23,150 Ford Escape SUVs for the 2017 model year to update the power-window software. Ford says it is not aware of any accidents or injuries associated with the issues.
