Spur's new options

Bentley’s Mulliner division has revealed its latest range of bespoke options for the marque’s Flying Spur. Geoff Dowding, director of Mulliner, says: “Creating bespoke features is about understanding our customer needs and requirements and the Flying Spur is a perfect outlet for us to interpret their ideas.” The new options include a refrigerated bottle cooler in the centre console, which allows storage for a champagne bottle in a canted position, a bottle stopper and champagne flutes. The bases of the flutes are designed to mirror the design of Bentley wheels, and can be placed in “specially designed flute holders” in the console armrest. A painted veneer finish is also available for the first time in the Spur, along with Mulliner’s “signature quilting”, which can be applied to the centre console. The centre console can be customised with a “handcrafted rear stowage compartment”, which includes a watch holder and storage for cufflinks and coins. The compartment is trimmed with contrasting colours inspired by “the tradition of Savile Row tailoring”. Sterling silver atomisers round out the range of options. The atomisers can be used to spray “a fine mist of water or perfume” for the Spur’s occupants, and can be housed in a compartment in the rear doors.
