Bad day for driver

Just as a dealer was waving goodbye to a new Porsche Boxster, which can makes the 0-100kph in 5.7 seconds, its new owner crashed it into a queue of vehicles. Ping Ch’ang was driving up to a set of traffic lights in Shenyang, China, when she hit the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes. The 27-year-old was leaving a Porsche dealership when she sped into cars waiting at a red light. “We were still waving goodbye when she shot forward and there was a tremendous bang,” says Porsche dealer Qiang Chiu. “We ran over and she wasn’t hurt, but the car was a real mess. We pushed it back to the showroom where it’s with our mechanics. We warned her it’s a very powerful car.” A police spokesman says: “All the other cars were stationary, so she bears the responsibility for the accident and is liable for compensation.”
