Coupe body for Civic

Posted on 04 January, 2016

Honda has produced a coupe version of its restyled Civic, which will have a choice of two engines – one of them being the model’s first turbocharged powerplant. The base engines is a two-litre units with 117Kw of power –11KW than the one it replaces – while the 1.5-litre turbo boasts 130KW, which is 23kW more than the 1.8-litre engine in the old coupe. “This is the sportiest, most tech-savvy coupe we’ve ever made,” says Honda designer Guy Melville Brown. He hopes the car has “a greater level of emotion” to lure buyers compared to the outgoing model.
