There was a reversal of fortunes during April in the prestige market compared to May with BMW being the best-selling marque and Mercedes-Benz coming third. BMW has 190 registrations of new cars and SUVs, according to Motor Industry Association statistics, and the highest share of business sales at 74.2 per cent. Mercedes-Benz had the highest share of private sales in the top three – 48.1 per cent of its 129-unit total. Audi came second with 155 sales of which 63.2 per cent were to businesses.
